“Love Lunar Eclipse,” an earlier acrylic painting on canvas measuring 48x48 inches, was completed post-9/11. An eclipse occurs when the moon appears darkened as it passes into the Earth’s shadow. This work explores themes of change, inner reection, and transformation. The bolts of lightning symbolize strength, power, and courage. Upon closer inspection, the painting also depicts the sunrise in the east and sunset in the west, accompanied by a blue sky with clouds.
